Pevra was founded in 2018 by Frans Evenblij and Peter van Apeldoorn. During the Defense Innovation Competition (DIC) 2018 with the theme \u201cThe Underground\u201d, we discovered that both communication and navigation underground are still a problem. Because we immediately had some ideas for a solution, we did some research to see if solutions were not already available on the market. Somewhat to our surprise, that turned out not to be the case. The Defense Innovation Competition gave us the opportunity to convert our knowledge and experience into an innovative product that could not only benefit Defense, but where we could possibly also solve other problems regarding (radio) communication and navigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because the DoD was very interested in our concept, we have been awarded an NTP grant<\/a> <\/a>in order to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed principles. We were recently able to demonstrate its operation and completed the grant project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We have now started developing this principle into an actually usable demonstration model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As a small company, we are convinced that we cannot and should not try to do everything ourselves. For this reason, we are continuously looking for potential partners with whom we can collaborate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
